Cassie Lackey
Founder/CEOCassie founded SporTherapy in 1989 to provide high quality physical therapy services to the Fort Worth area after receiving extensive experience with orthopaedic and sports related injuries at the Medical & Surgical Clinic in Fort Worth, Collegiate and High School Interims, and specialty coursework. She received her degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University in 1985, graduating in the inaugural physical therapy class. Upon obtaining her PT license, she also attained her Athletic Training Certification and was involved as a PT/ATC Task Force member.
Cassie has a wide range of experience in general orthopedics and sports medicine, and specialized in biomechanical evaluations and treatment procedures. She has lead research and co-authored a publication for ACL rehab following a 2 year study. She is committed to her Physical Therapy practice/administration expertise and has been involved within her lifelong memberships from state to national and section levels of the APTA. She has been recognized as a “TOP Female Entrepreneur for DFW” and SporTherapy has been designated a “Top 100 Private Companies in Fort Worth” for multiple years. She received “Most distinguished Alumni” award for both TTUHSC as well as School of Physical Therapy for 2019. She has served on PT school advisory boards and is active with the Endowment Program at TTUHSC.
When she’s not at work, Cassie enjoys doing life with her husband, Steve, their 2 adult sons, and dog, traveling, volunteering for causes dear to her heart, biking, gardening, and all things Texas Tech.

CEOSteve joined SporTherapy in 1991 as the Business Director to help manage a small, rapidly growing enterprise. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA Degree in Management of Information Systems in 1983. His current focus is business development and growth – as well as chief cook and dishwasher at the annual SporTherapy Thanksgiving Lunch Extravaganza!
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and cheering for various sports programs at Texas Tech.

Director of Operations & MarketingCheryl Callahan joined the SporTherapy team in 2010 and has fulfilled various roles over the years to support SporTherapys’ growth and development. She currently fulfills our Director of Marketing and Operations Manager roles. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and her Master of Business Administration Degree from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.

Physical Therapist, Clinic Director, and Regional DirectorKathleen earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Prior to earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University.
Kathleen is the clinic director at Fossil Creek and the regional director for the Northeast region. She takes special interest in post-concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, and postpartum rehab.
In her free time, Kathleen likes to hang out with her husband, Felix, her daughters, Anna & Emily, and dog, Summer. She also enjoys being outdoors, and is a coffee enthusiast and low-level gym rat.

Physical Therapist, Chief Education DirectorAmy Clark graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2003. She then earned her Doctorate of Science (Sc.D) in Physical Therapy in 2009, which is a professional terminal doctoral degree emphasizing orthopedics, manual therapy and teaching. Amy went on to complete her fellowship training in orthopedic medicine in 2014 and then became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Although Amy loves to work with a wide variety of orthopedic clientele, she specializes in rehabilitation and biomechanical analysis for the distance runner.
Amy is from Clarksville, Texas and has a passion for running. Aside from treating injured runners, she is also the founder of Run With Endurance Coaching–training adult endurance runners and co-leads a local running group with her husband Jon, called The Herd. She has run numerous marathons and ultra-marathons (including 100 mile races in the mountains).
Lastly, Amy enjoys teaching various continuing education classes for physical therapists and mentoring student physical therapists, residents and fellows.

Physical Therapist, Clinic Director, Regional DirectorJordan Nipp earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Texas Tech University. Prior to earning his DPT, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwestern State University where also played collegiate baseball.
Jordan has his Graston Technique-M1 manual certification and also taken the following education courses in Therapeutic Neuroscience Education, When the Feet Hit the Ground…Everything Changes, and numerous other UE/LE/Back continuing education courses through EIM and other companies. He takes special interest in treatment of athletes of all ages and all sports injuries. He enjoys community outreach activity, educating young athletes on health/wellness/injury prevention, and watching area high school sports from the sidelines or stands.
Jordan loves spending his free time with his family. He enjoys being active outdoors as well as playing golf and working out. He also enjoys traveling with family and friends. Jordan is the Regional Director for the West Region.

Physical Therapist, Senior Regional DirectorBrandon O’Malley earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Prior to that, Brandon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences from Texas Tech University.
Brandon became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2017 and completed his AAOMPT-accredited manual therapy fellowship (FAAOMPT) in 2021 and is most interested in treating all orthopedic injuries.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys spending time at the lake, playing golf, and other recreational sports. He likes traveling when he gets a chance to seek adventure activities, and Brandon enjoys spending time in outdoors with his wife, daughters, and their dog. Brandon also doesn’t mind binge-watching Netflix on occasion. Brandon is the Senior Regional Director for the Central Region.
